Jashn-e-Noroz in Baltistan.
Noroz is an event mostly celebrate in Iran. There is no more a trustable memories or a history about this day.
In Arabic Noroz means "nine days", the history is that on this day there is nine event took place on the same day and in another history the first day of Persian Calender Start on the same day, therfore there is a public holidays in Iran and Afghanistan and in some tribal areas of Pakistan.
About Baltistan its said that the mostly population of are Shia Muslim therefore like in the favour of Iran this event is also celebrate in Baltistan.
On this day people wish eid mubarak to each other, little kids play with Eggs which is specially served for that day. Almost every kid collect 3 to 4 Dozens of Eggs from their relatives. the festival is celebrate in the main city of skardu i which the Royal Families play Traditional POLO in the MAQPOON POLO GROUND Skardu. About 20 thousands people of Baltistan gathered there to see the POLO match.
